| License Units For Software Copy Protection |

The License Unit mechanism provides you with pay-as-you-go flexibility. You purchase a number of license units according to your software copy protection needs. Your EasyLicenser installation maintains a running count of units purchased, and the available balance. The license units are consumed as follows:
Single User License
- 1 per key.
Server / Orion License (requires Pro Edition)
- Concurrent-user limit per server key, or
- 20 x named-role limit per server key, or
- 20 x CPU limit per server key, or
- 5 x Orion-user limit per Orion network license key, or
- Total-CPU-MHZ / 20 per server key.
The available balance is correspondingly incremented by the number of license units corresponding to expired time-limited keys when you perform a reclaim operation using License Manager GUI.
